What We’re Looking For

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in Echocardiography or Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiac Ultrasound.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • Current BLS certification
  • Must complete and maintain LA City Fire Card certification at the time of hire or within the first 30 days of employment
  • Must complete and maintain Management of Assaultive Behavior (MOAB) training within the first 30 days of employment/transfer
